The Association was founded as Medical Affairs Association (MAA). For the application of corporation, set name to the "Taiwan Clinical Research Association" (TCRA), that was granted by the Ministry of the Interior, Republic of China, on July 31, 2006. TCRA is a social group established for non-profit objectives and in full compliance with the law. Its missions are to promote the domestic clinical research environment as well as the new drug development, and to advance the quality & the level of clinical trials to meet with theinternational standards.
